Every SET-50™ Sharp Edge Tester is calibrated at our manufacturing facility just prior to delivery. We track this calibration for every tool based on the serial number assigned to the device.
Per UL 1439 (and other international standard guidelines), all Sharp Edge Tester tools must be calibrated at least once each year. It is important for the calibration be done with NIST validated components according to outlined best practices.
Please note that we only provide recalibration services for genuine SET-50™ products. As a result, we will require the product serial number and a picture of the tool as part of our service delivery process.
